Festival artists

Participating artists in Tarnovia Flute Summer festival are illustrious Polish, American, Italian and Serbian orchestras and universities authorities, who allow students to uderstand the intricacies of the flute performances and gain required motivation for the further development. Those are (in the alphabetical order):

Greg Pattillo

Greg Pattillo was described by the New York Times as “the best in the world at what he does.” After his landmark videos went viral on YouTube in 2007, Pattillo has been known worldwide for his signature beatbox flute sound, performing and teaching as a soloist and as a founding member of The Project Trio. Growing up in Seattle, WA, Greg started playing the flute in his 4th grade public school band class. He attended The Cleveland Institute of Music, graiduating with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Flute Performance, studying with Joshua Smith.  He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. Greg Pattillo is a Sankyo Artist and plays a CF 901 Sankyo Silver Flute.

With over 100 million views of his solo videos, featuring arrangements of Super Mario Bros., Inspector Gadget, Peter and the Wolf, Sesame Street, and many others. His music was featured in the 2017 Lego Ninjago Movie as the Beatbox Flute music of “Master Wu”. The Project Trio has produced 6 full-length CDs, 2 EPs, and a live DVD, as well as cultivating over 100,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel.  They have played tours in many countries around the world. Collaborations with the Trio and Orchestras include concerts with many symphony orchestras. As an educator Mr. Pattillo has taught masterclasses on Beatbox Flute and Improvisation at numerous higher education institutions including the Juilliard School, Yale University, Curtis School of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, Columbia University, University of Michigan, Rice University, NYU, Oberlin, Berklee College of Music, the Guildhall School of Music, and many more. As a member of the Project Trio, Greg has outreached to over 700,000 students with concerts and assemblies all over the world. He has also published 2 books on beatbox flute: “Beatbox FluteMethod Book, Vol. 1” 2019, and “Four Etudes for Beatbox Flute” 2013.

Viviana Guzmán

Described by the New York Times as “an imaginative artist,” Chilean-born flutist, Viviana Guzmán performs over 80 concerts a year throughout the world and has performed in 133 countries. Her latest album "Traveling Sonata" received a GRAMMY Nomination for Best Producer. Her album “Song of the Whale” received a Global Music Award, Gold Winner..

Viviana has presented three TEDxTalks and at TEDxBerkeley, she spoke immediately before Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, Inc. She has been featured on programs for PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, Good Morning America and NPR, and seen on the cover of Latina Style Magazine, and in COSMOPOLITAN en Español.

Having started musical training at the age of 5, by age 15, she had played as a soloist with orchestra, studied with Jean-Pierre Rampal and was featured on NBC’s nationally televised John Denver music special. Her YouTube channel boats 3 million views. Viviana Guzman is currently teaching flute at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Snježana Pavićević

Snježana Pavićević was born in Sisak (Croatia). She graduated from the Faculty of Music, Academy of Arts in Belgrade (Serbia) in the class of Professor Miodrag Azanjac in 1994. She received Magister of Arts Degree with the same professor. After completing studies in the class of Professor Nicola Mazzanti in Milan, she received Master of Arts Degree in piccolo flute.

Her professional career started in 1994 when she was appointed for the position of piccolo solo at the Belgrade Opera Orchestra. In 2002 Snježana became a solo piccolo flutist at the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. As a student she won several national and international competitions, as a soloist and also with some chamber ensembles. She collaborated with many orchestras and conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Muhai Tang, Mihail Jurowsky, Kiril Petrenko, Krzysztof Penderecki, Howard Griffiths, Andres Orozco Estrada, Tomas Sanderling, Gabriel Feltz, Leif Segerstam, Daniel Raiskin, En Shao, Howard Griffits, Neme Jarvi

Besides her orchestral engagements, she also plays with various chamber ensembles and performs various recitals with flute, piccolo and alto flute – solo and with piano accompaniment. She collaborates permanently with “Ensemble Studio 6” for contemporary music and they premiered many contemporary works in Serbia. With “Murska percussion” ensemble (Slovenia) she performs works for flute and piccolo with percussion ensemble originally written or arranged for this ensemble.

Luisa Sello

Luisa Sello, defined by the New York Concert Review “lovely mix of extroverted passion and genuine tenderness, with excellent breath control, brilliant technical rendering, engaging intensity, sonorous range and abundance of charm” is a Flute Miyazawa Artist and an Ambassador of Music and Italian Culture, supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture.

Her international career includes collaborations with Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Riccardo Muti, Wien Symphoniker Orchestra, Thailand Symphony Orchestra, Trevor Pinnock, Alirio Diaz, Philippe Entremont, Bruno Canino, Karl Leister, Carnegie Hall, Juilliard School, Suntory Hall, Mozarteum Salzburg, Prazak quartet, the composers Salvatore Sciarrino, Aldo Clementi, Rainer Bischof, Chan Ka Nin, Gheorgi Arnaoudov (première performances). Already Flute Professor at the Academy of Music in Milano and Trieste (Italy), she is actually Professor for doctoral PhD in ‘Flute Performance’ at the New Bulgarian University of Sofia (Bulgaria) and visiting professor at the Universities in Vienna, Madrid, Beijing, Melbourne, New York, Kyoto, Bangkok, Buenos Aires, among others. In obtaining both her ArtD in Performing Arts and her PhD in Linguistic and Literary Sciences, she studied in Paris with Raymond Guiot and Alain Marion, who proclaimed her “very musical, superb,” at the Accademia Chigiana with Severino Gazzelloni, who remarked her “magnificent interpretive sensibility and excellent sound”, and with Conrad Klemm in Rome who wrote about “her virtuosity without sacrificing expressiveness”. She records for Stradivarius, Dynamic (Italy) and Naxos). She is awarded the honorary distinction “Cavaliere al Merito” of the Italian Republic.

dr hab. Urszula Janik-Lipińska prof. UMFC

Her flute education began in the Henryk Wieniawski State Secondary School of Music in Łódź, in the class taught by Antoni Wierzbiński, with whom she also later studied in the Academy of Music in Łódź, graduating with a distinction in 1984. She further developed her abilities in the Paris Conservatory with Alain Marion, who funded a one-year scholarship for her as an award in the International Jean-Pierre Rampal Flute Competition in Paris. She continued her studies in Paris for another year as a French government scholarship holder, also participating in this period in master classes in Nice (with Alain Marion), Bayreuth (with Milan Munclinger) and Duszniki (with Jerzy Mrozik).

During her studies, she took part in a number of flute competitions, receiving numerous awards and distinctions, such as: the 1st prize and special award in the National Flute Competition in Włoszkowice, the 4th prize in the International Flute Competition in Ancona (Italy), the 4th prize in the 1st International Flute Competition in Kobe (Japan), and the 6th prize in the International Johann Sebastian Bach Flute Competition in Leipzig. Directly after her studies, the artist became the flute section leader and soloist in the Polish Chamber Orchestra (now – the Sinfonia Varsovia). Urszula Janik’s artistic personality developed through collaboration, as part of her work in the orchestra, with the greatest musical personalities of our time, such as Martha Argerich, Charles Dutoit, Sir James Galway, Irena Grafenauer, Leopold Hager, Mischa Maisky, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Krzysztof Penderecki, Jean-Pierre Rampal, and Mstislav Rostropovich. A special place among the musicians performing with the orchestra was occupied by Yehudi Menuhin, under whose baton she also played as a soloist.

Urszula Janik has performed with numerous other symphony orchestras in Poland, and throughout Europe as a soloist with the Sinfonia Varsovia. Her debut took place in Warsaw Philharmonic, where she played the solo flute part in Andrzej Panufnik’s Sinfonia concertante under the baton of Jerzy Katlewicz. She also recorded the same work with the Great Symphony Orchestra of the Polish Radio and Television, alongside other compositions recorded for the Polish Radio and Television archive. She took part in a recording project, released on CD in March 2002, featuring chamber music by Claude Debussy, Jacques Ibert, Maurice Ravel and Albert Roussel. Since January 2002, Urszula Janik has been the flute section leader and soloist in Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

dr Natalia Jarząbek

Natalia Jarząbek graduated with a great distinction from the Academy of Music in Kraków in the class of Prof. Dr h.c. Barbara Świątek – Żelazna and was a student of Hochschule für Musik in Weimar in the class of Prof. Wally Hase. She also graduated from the Jagiellonian University with master degree in mathematics. Currently she is currently a principal flutist of the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra, PhD student at the Academy of Music in Kraków and an orchestral excerpts teacher at The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. Since 2022 Natalia is an Artist of Miyazawa Flutes.

The topic of her research is the problem of circular breathing in performing wind instruments. As a specialist in this field she inspires many contemporaries composers who they dedicated numerous works to her. Also she is the author — together with her teacher, prof. Barbara of the book Infinity. Circular Breathing and the course book Infinity with exercises and pieces to practice this technique, released in December 2020. The CD Infinity - with pieces requiring the use of circular breathing - was recorded with the Belgian pianist Emmy Wils at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center in Lusławice and released by DUX in September 2019.

Natalia gave many lectures about circular breathing around the world (i.e. The National Flute Association 2023 in Phoenix,, the Festival Universitario de Flauta Transversa in México 2019, the Alexander Arutiunian International Wind Festival 2019). Her abilities are highly regarded on international competitions. She received many prizes, scholarships and awards appreciating her achievements. Natalia performed and was teaching at festivals such as: British Flute Society ’s Flutastique! Festival, the 2017 Adams Flute Festival, the Festival Universitario de Flauta Transversa in México, the Alexander Arutiunian International Wind Festival, the 31st International Festival of Krakow Composers, Wawel o Zmierzchu Festival and the Music Festival in Łańcut. She has worked closely with numerous symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles, performing in renowned venues around the world.

Since 2017, Natalia has also been a flutist of the Cracow Golden Quintet, with whom she won the 2nd prize at The Stanislaw Moniuszko International Polish Music Competition in Rzeszów, 2019. The ensemble recorded a CD Polish Wind Quintets, nominated to the Fryderyk 2020 Award.

dr hab. Jan Krzeszowiec

He graduated with honours from the Wrocław Karol Lipiński Music Acade­my at Professor Jerzy Mrozik’s class. For prominent achieve­ments, he was awarded a honorary Primus Inter Pares title by the Vice-Chancellor’s Council.

He was awarded at numerous flute contests at home and abroad, including the ones in Warsaw, Cracow, Bucharest and Città di Aversa. He has won Ministry of Culture and Art, and Silesian Voivideship scholarships.

Chamber music is an important part of his artistic activity. He is a member of LutosAir Quintet woodwind quintet, with which he regularly performs on Polish stages and abroad.

Since 2001, he has been a flutist-soloist in the Wrocław Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, currently the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic. He is employed as an assistant professor at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. In the years 2005-2023 he lecturer at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where in 2019 he obtained a doctorate in musical arts. He has received distinguished awards for recordings for such music publishing houses as Deutsche Grammophon, ECM, CD Accord and DUX. His last album, recorded under the baton of maestro Jerzy Maksymiuk together with his brothers - Szymon and Adam and the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, was released in 2022 by the CD Accord.

prof. Ewa Murawska

Ewa Murawska is a flutist, soloist, chamber musician and professor at Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where she also is a Leader of Woodwind Department. She completed her flute studies with honors with Dorota Karaniewicz-Biedny (Poznań), Patrick Gallois (Paris) and Andrzej Łęgowski (Poznań); she was also a student of Henrik Svitzer (Odense).

She has won international music competitions (e.g. Uelzen – 3rd prize and Paris – Premier Prix l’Unanimité) and scholarships: Polish – a.o. from the Minister of Culture, Minister of Science and Higher Education (twice), President of the City of Poznań, Marshal of the Province of Wielkopolska, as well as the governments of Italy, France, Germany and Denmark, and the Scholarship and Training Fund. In 2009 she won the competition “100 Young Creative European Talents” held by the Committee of the Regions in Brussels.

She has been giving concerts (more than 400) in Poland and abroad (Germany, France, Iceland, Norway, Greece, Sweden, Italy, etc.) and is a jury member in international competitions (Poland, France, Germany among others). She has also recorded 13 CDs, a.o. in collaboration with Pierre-Yves Artaud and Áshildur Haraldsdóttir. She published 13 books (including cycle Playing the Flute with Chopin, Grieg and Sveinsson) and was the leader of 29 international scientist, didactic, artistic and social projects (like Baltic Art Camp 2022). She is also a Chairwoman of the Board od Event Culture Fund.

prof. dr hab. Magdalena Pilch

Prof. Magdalena Pilch graduated from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in 1997, where she studied flute under Grzegorz Olkiewicz. Between 1998 and 2002, she completed postgraduate studies in the traverso flute class of Prof. Dr. Linde Brunmayr-Tutz at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen, Germany. In 2024, she was awarded the title of State Professor of Musical Arts. As a specialist in historical flutes, she performs on medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic instruments. She is the founder of La Viva Fiamma, currently the only active Renaissance transverse flute consort in Poland, and a co-founder of the early music ensemble Filatura di Musica. She also initiated Traversjada, a recurring itinerant academic and artistic session dedicated to historical transverse flutes, held at the music academies of Łódź, Poznań, and Katowice.

Prof. Pilch’s academic work is deeply rooted in performance practice. Her habilitation focused on the comprehensive vision of the Romantic flute—its construction, sound, and technique—based on A.B. Fürstenau’s Die Kunst des Flötenspiels (Op. 138). This research led to the recording of two solo albums released by RECART: Flauto brillante (2011) and Brillante 2 (2015). Her scholarly contributions include Polish translations of two landmark historical flute treatises: * J.-M. Hotteterre: Principles of the Flute, Recorder, and Oboe (Łódź, 2013) * J. G. Tromlitz: The Virtuoso Flute-Player (Łódź, 2018)

Since 2009, she has been a faculty member at the G. and K. Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, where she leads the traverso flute class. She also collaborates with the Academy of Music in Katowice and previously taught at the Academy in Wrocław for 15 years. Since 2013, she has served as the Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed artistic and scientific journal Notes Muzyczny (notesmuzyczny.pl) and manages flettraverso.pl, a professional portal dedicated to historical flutes.

Hanna Turonek - piccolo flute

Graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the flute class of Professor Elżbieta Gajewska. She refined her skills by taking part in the International Flute Symposium in Freiburg im Breisgau together with such famous artists as Jean-Pierre Rampal, Robert Aitken and Aurele Nicolet. She also participated in the Master Class of Interpretation in Duszniki-Zdrój, headed by Professor Jerzy Mrozik and Peter Ode. Turonek is a laureate of many national and international music competitions, including the V. Bucchi competition in Rome, the M. Canals competition in Barcelona and competitions in Duino (Italy) and the 1st Flute Competition in Cracow.

She is a flutist and piccoloist of Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra and lecturer at the Sinfonia Varsovia Academy, a project that resulted in the success of playing orchestral music. She also teaches piccolo flute at the K. Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow.

Hanna Turonek specialises in playing the piccolo, performing, among others, Vivaldi’s concertos from Op.10 (Il Gardellino, La Tempesta di Mare, La Notte et al.). She was the first Polish flute piccolo player to perform the Concerto for Piccolo and Symphony Orchestra Op.50 by American Composer Lowell Liebermann. The first performance of the concerto took place on 13 April 2007 during the Świętokrzyskie Music Days in Kielce, with Jan Miłosz Zarzycki conducting.

Hanna Turonek is actively involved in concert activity in Poland and abroad, performing solo, chamber and orchestral works. She has performed in nearly every country in Europe, as well as in Asia, North America, South America and Australia under the direction of such renowned conductors as Lord Yehudi Menuhin, Krzysztof Penderecki, Charles Dutoit, Mstislav Rostropovich, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Jacek Kaspszyk, Jerzy Semkow, Antoni Wit and Marc Minkowski.

dr hab. Łukasz Zimnik

A graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of prof. Stanisław Michalik. He mastered his skills at master courses, including with Andreas Blau, Jean-Claude Gerard, Irena Grafenauer, Henrik Svitzer, Barbara Gisler-Haase and Peter Holtstag. He is the laureate of the National Competition of Woodwind Instruments in Olsztyn.

In the years 1991-1996 he worked as a flutist in the State Silesian Philharmonic, and in the years 1992-1995 in the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 1996, he has been the first flutist of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. He constantly cooperates with the "Sinfonietta Cracovia" orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy AUKSO. He also performs with NOSPR chamber musicians and the Katowice Academy of Music. As a soloist, he performed with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Silesian Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Camerata Impuls, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, AUKSO Chamber Orchestra and the Academic Baroque Orchestra. He participated as a soloist and chamber musician in many festivals, including in international harp festivals and the festival "Silesian Quartet and his guests" He played under such conductors as Krzysztof Penderecki, Sir Neville Marriner, Christof von Eschenbach, Charles Dutoit, Kurt Masur, Leonard Slatkin, Lawrence Foster, Stanisław Skrowaczewski with soloist included Marta Argerich, Krystian Zimermann, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Daniel Barenboim, Maxim Vengerov, Piotr Anderszewski. He recorded Bolesław Szabelski concerto for flute and orchestra for Polish Radio. In 2015 he obtained a PhD in music. Currently, he lectures at the Academy of Music in Katowice as an adjunct.

dr Seweryn Zapłatyński

Seweryn Zapłatyński - Polish flutist, teacher, and chamber musician, born in Oława, Lower Silesia. Flutist of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Doctor of Arts, and lecturer at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. He also develops his pedagogical activity as a flute teacher at the Complex of State Music Schools No. 1 in Warsaw. Regularly invited to lead master classes and workshops, as well as to serve on the jury of flute competitions, he actively supports the development of the young generation of musicians.

He began his flute studies in his hometown, at the Primary Music School in Oława, in the class of Anna Szlichta, M.A., under whose supervision he continued his education at the Ryszard Bukowski Secondary Music School in Wrocław. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Łódź in the class of Professor Urszula Janik-Lipińska and also studied under the supervision of Professor Andrea Lieberknecht at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover. From 2007 to 2008, he was the flutist of the Witold Lutosławski Philharmonic in Wrocław.

Since 2008, he has been associated with the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw, with which he has toured numerous times, giving concerts in major centers in Europe, the United States, Japan, China, and South Korea. As a soloist, he has performed with the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Silesian Philharmonic, the Koszalin Philharmonic, the Łódź Philharmonic, and the Kalisz Philharmonic, among others. As an orchestral musician, he has collaborated with numerous ensembles, such as Sinfonia Varsovia, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, the Łódź Philharmonic, the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, and Sinfonia Viva.

Dominika Peszko

dr Dominika Peszko

Dominika Peszko (born 19.11.1988 in Rzeszow, Poland) - the pianist, chamber musician and teacher. Doctor of Musical Arts. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow in the piano class of Andrzej Pikul and under his guidance she got her PhD in 2017. She perfected her skills during the masterclasses with acclaimed pianists: Paul Badura-Skoda, Kevin Kenner, Boris Berman, Dina Yoffe and others. In 2015-2018 she has been a participant of the Young Talents Development Programme – Opera Academy at the National Opera-Grand Theater in Warsaw, where she has taken part in masterclasses of Helmut Deutsch, Eytan Pessen, Matthias Rexroth, Neil Shicoff, Edith Wiens, Tobias Truniger and Paul Plummer.

As a soloist, she has performed with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Lublin Philharmonic, the Symphony Orchestra of the Krakow Philharmonic, the Symphony Orchestra of the Opole Philharmonic, the Symphony Orchestra of the Rzeszow Philharmonic, the Symphony Orchestra of Tadeusz Baird Philharmonic in Zielona Gora, and others. She has collaborated with conductors such as Paweł Przytocki, Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk, Wojciech Rodek, Rafał Kloczko and Sebastian Perłowski among others.

Dominika Peszko received the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland (2009, 2019) and the prestigious Ars Quaerendi Prize (together with her Master, Małgorzata Walewska). In 2019 she made the premiere recording of Kazimierz Lubomirski's complete works. The four-disc album contains all the composer's piano works (35) and all of the art songs (35), recorded together with Małgorzata Walewska – mezzo , Andrzej Lampert – tenor, Hasmik Sahakyan – soprano and Paweł Trojak – baritone.

In 2020, an album of songs by Emanuel Kania was released by the DUX label (DUX 7603), recorded together with the bass-baritone Dawid Biwo. She has premiered numerous new, experimental music, often with the use of multimedia tools and is a member of the "Muzyka Centrum" Artistic Association of performers of contemporary music. With the beginning of the corona pandemic Dominika Peszko started to study the monumental cycle of Olivier Messiaen Vingt Regards sur L'Enfant-Jésus, which she performed in April 2022 during the 34. Krakow International Festival of Composers. She is the third performer of this cycle in Poland (after Eugeniusz Knapik and Jerzy Godziszewski) and the first Polish female pianist to take up this challenge. As a chamber musician, Dominika Peszko performed in numerous European countries and in Republic of South Africa. She particularly favours vocal lyric and collaborating with singers in the capacity of their tutor-coach. Working alongside vocalists entails both performing on stage and accompanying the singers in domestic and overseas competitions. In 2013 Dominika started work at the Faculty Vocal Performance and Acting at The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow.

dr hab. Ewa Rzetecka-Niewiadomska

Dr hab. Ewa Rzetecka-Niewiadomska graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Łódź in the harpsichord class of Prof. Leszek Kędracki, followed by postgraduate studies at the Geneva University of Music (HEM) in the solo harpsichord class of Alfonso Fedi. In 2014, also in Geneva, she earned the title of Maestro al Cembalo and received the special Groux-Extermann prize for her performance of John Blow’s opera Venus and Adonis. Her studies focused on chamber ensemble and orchestral leadership, conducting, and various keyboard instruments, including harpsichord, organ, and pianoforte. She has participated in masterclasses with eminent artists such as Władysław Kłosiewicz, Pierre Hantaï, and Ton Koopman.

As a soloist, she performs on both harpsichord and organ. She has collaborated with the Atelier Baroque de l’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and the Grand Theatre in Łódź, and is a member of Kapela Polonica, the duo Musica Graziosa, and Duo E&E (with flutist Ewelina Zawiślak). Her passion for contemporary music led her to co-found the "Harpsichord Without Borders" seminar at the Academy of Music in Łódź, an initiative active since 2018 dedicated to lectures, concerts, and premieres. Since 2010, she has also served as a regular pedagogue and accompanist at the International Forum for Flute and Piano in Luxembourg. In 2021, she launched the seminar "On Teaching in the 21st Century," exploring music’s impact on brain development and modern pedagogical methods. Following her habilitation, Ewa Rzetecka-Niewiadomska currently serves as a Professor at the Academy of Music in Łódź.

He obtained his master's degree in physiotherapy at the Jerzy Kukuczka Academy of Physical Education in Katowice. He graduated from the Secondary State Music School. Władysław Żeleński in Krakow in the percussion class. Certified MT1 Manual Therapist. Founder of FizjoMuz - the first physiotherapy office in Poland specializing in the prevention of occupational overload, therapy of injuries and dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system of musicians.

When working with patients, he combines the experience of a musician with the knowledge and practice of a physiotherapist. He constantly improves his qualifications by participating in numerous courses and conferences, the leading one being Orthopedic Manual Therapy according to IFOMPT standards. He runs his own FizjoMuz office in Krakow, which is a physiotherapy and manual therapy center created especially for musicians.
